Abstract: The acute tonsillitis is a common disease in children，belonging to infantile tonsillitis in traditional Chinese medicine.The disease is often accompanied by varying degrees of complications,such as rheumatic fever，nephritis，myocarditis and arthritis，etc,which gains increasing attention of parents.Professor Sun Liping thinks that the disorder is closely associated with lung，stomach，kidney,and the treatment should be based on the principle of "clearing the upper，removing the middle and nourishing the lower"，so she created Zilou decoction，and with the permission of addition and subtraction, the decoction has achieved good curative effect in clinics.
