Abstract:
Objective
To investigate the application value of HBsAg detection in urine.
Methods
A total of 2 031 pupils were included as the research subjects,980 of whom were from an urban elementary school and 1 051 from suburban school. Urine sanguinis was taken on Monday morning at the second week of a term. HBsAg in urine was detected by ELISA, and those with positive HBsAg testing were detected the hepatitis-B-related indexes.
Results
In the 980 from the urban school, one had slightly positive HBsAg, which was proved to be negative in the reexamination at a special hospital. In the 1 051 from the suburban school, 5 had positive HBsAg, and after the blood testing in a special hospital,4 were HBsAg carries, and one had positive HBsAg, HBeAg and HBcAb, and all the 5 pupils had normal liver function.
Conclusion
Urine HBsAg test can be a way of screening for people with HBsAg infection. Hepatitis B vaccine can protect our health, so we should receive vaccination in time as scheduled.
