Abstract:
Objective
To assess the efficacy and safety of Chinese medicine for infantile autumn diarrhe.
Methods
An extensive search was carried out in the databases, including CNKI,VIP,CBM,Wanfang fulltext database,CMFD,Pubmed,COCHRANE library and Clinical Trial, for  randomized controlled trials about oral administration of Chinese medicine for the treatment of infantile diarrhea. The quality evaluation and data extraction of the included researches were completed independently by two staff members. Revman5.3 software was used for analysis and evaluation.
Results
Totally 17 RCT literatures were included,1 990  cases in total,1 043 in the treatment group and 947 in the control group.Of the outcome indexes, the effective rate, the rotavirus conversion rate and the time of stopping diarrhea were better in the treatment group than in the control group. Because of the low quality of the literature, we didn't combine them, and only did descriptive analysis.
Conclusion
Oral administration of Chinese medicine for the treatment of children's autumn diarrhea has a certain effect. But higher quality evidence is needed for further verification.
