Abstract: Objective To explore the curative effect of modified blue light combined with enema with Chinese herbal medicine boiled powder in the treatment of neonatal fetal yellow(dampheat accumulating type). Methods From September 2013 to February 2020, a total of 120 children with neonatal pathological jaundice were admitted to the Zuoan Fengqiao Community Health Service Station of Handan Development Zone. They were randomly divided into observation group and control group with 60 cases in each group. The control group was treated with a singlesided jaundice treatment box and Yinzhihuang Oral Liquid was administered at the same time; the observation group was treated with a modified blue light box, and at the same time enema treatment with selfmade Chinese medicine prescriptions(yinchen, scutellaria, coptis, phellodendron, and Zhizi as the main prescription) was performed. After 3 and 5 days of treatment, the bilirubin levels and side effects of the two groups were compared. Results There was no significant difference in serum bilirubin decline between the two groups after 3 or 5 days of treatment(P>0.05). There were significant differences in side effects(P<0.05), such as conjunctivitis, diarrhea, insufficient breast milk, crying, etc. between the two groups after 3 and 5 days of treatment. Conclusion The modified blue light combined with enema with traditional Chinese medicine boiled powder and the traditional singlesided jaundice treatment box combined with oral Yinzhihuang oral liquid have the same curative effect in the treatment of fetal yellow(dampheat accumulating type), and it is easy to carry, which ensures that mothers and babies are in the same room and breastfeeding can be given, so it is conducive to the physical and mental health of mothers and babies with high safety.
