Abstract:
Objective:
To explore the clinical effect of budesonide combined with compound ipratropium bromide aerosol inhalation in the treatment of mycoplasma pneumonia in children.
Methods:Totally 105 children with mycoplasma pneumonia were randomly divided into control group(n=52),who received macrolide antibiotic sequential therapy, and observation group(n=53),who were given additional budesonide and compound ipratropium bromide oxygen atomizing inhalation, 10 days as a course of treatment. The therapeutic effects were observed and compared between the two groups, including cough relief time, temperature recovery time, regression time of physical signs of the lungs, chest X-ray improvement on the 10th day, hospital stay and the change of inflammation indexes before and after the treatment(CRP,ESR,LDH).
Results:The effect rate in the observation group was 73.6%(39/53),and the control group 51.9%(27/52),the difference being statistically significant(P<0.05).Cough relief time, temperature recovery time, regression time of physical signs of the lungs, and hospital stay were significantly shorter in observation group than in control group(P<0.05). Chest X-ray on the 10th day showed that in the observation group inflammation was basically absorbed in more cases than in the control group, the difference being statistically significant(P<0.05). Inflammation indexes(CRP,ESR,LDH) of the observation group were lower than the control group after treatment, the difference being statistically significant(P<0.05).
Conclusion:Budesonide combined with compound ipratropium bromide oxygen atomizing inhalation is effective in the treatment of mycoplasma pneumonia in children. It can obviously improve the clinical symptoms and signs and shorten the treatment time, which is worthy of clinical application.
