    Objective
To study the effect of rapid acupuncture in Back-Shu and Front-mu acupoints at different time points and the courses on the expression of IL-6 and TNF-α in rats with brain injury, and to explore its protective effect on neurons and the therapeutic mechanism, in order to provide evidence for clinical treatment.
    Methods
A total of 15 male and 30 female mature SD rats of SPF grade were chosen, and were placed in one cage after adaptive feeding, which resulted in 20 pregnant rats. These pregnant rats were randomly divided into two groups: the lipopolysaccharide group(14 rats) and normal saline group(6 rats). The brain injury model of newborn rat was established by abdominal injection of lipopolysaccharide in the pregnant rats, and these model rats were randomly divided into four groups: early and short-term acupuncture group(group A),late short-term acupuncture group(B),long-term acupuncture group(C) and model control group(D);the blank control group consisted of normal newborn rats; there were 10 rats in each group.Rapid acupuncture in the Back-shu and Front-mu acupoints was performed in the acupuncture groups, once a day; in group A it was started on the first day of birth and continued for 7 days in a row; in group B it was started on the 15th day of birth and continued for consecutively 7 days; in group C it was started on the first day of birth and continued for consecutively 21 days; the acupuncture was not performed in model control group and blank control group. On the 21st day of acupuncture, the brain tissues were taken for detection of IL-6 and TNF-α.
    Results
The expression of IL-6 and TNF-α in brain tissues of the acupuncture groups was down-regulated, and there was statistical difference when compared with model control group (P<0.05).The down-regulation of IL-6 and TNF-α was better in group C than in group A and B(P<0.05),and it was better in group A than in group B(P<0.05).
    Conclusion
Rapid acupuncture in Backshu and Frontmu acupoints can protect the brain tissues of premature newborn rats with brain injury due to intra-uterine infection/inflammation, so it is recommended to be sued in the early stage and for a long term.

    Objective
To observe the effect of Yiqi Guben capsule on the levels of TNF-α、IL-1β in serum and alveolar lavage fluid of asthmatic mice, and to explore the mechanism of Yiqi Guben capsule in inhibiting airway remodeling in asthma.
    Methods
Sixty BALB/c mice were randomly divided into normal control group(n=10),model group(n=14),Yiqi Guben capsules group(n=12),dexamethasone tablets group(n=12) and Tongkang tablets group(n=12).Yiqi Guben capsules(55 g/L),dexamethasone tablets(0.005 g/L)and Tongkang tablets(44 g/L) were given by intragastric administration to each drug group, and normal control group and model group were given equal volume of pure water by intragastric administration, once a day for 30 consecutive days. Asthma mice models were established by sensitization with ovalbumin(OVA) according to the literature. Asthma models were challenged once a day for 10 consecutive days beginning on the 21st day after administration. The drug groups were given the tested drug 1 hour before the provocation. The content of TNF-α and IL-1β in serum and alveolar lavage fluid were determined by enzymelinked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) after 30 days.
    Results
Compared with normal control group, Serum levels of TNF-α in model group statistically were significantly  increased(P<0.01). Compare with asthma model group, serum levels of TNF-α in Yiqi Guben capsule group and Tongkang tablet group and dexamethasone tablets group were decreased significantly (P<0.05),serum levels of IL-1β was no statistical significance(P>0.05). Compare with  normal control group, bronchoalveolar lavage fluid levels of TNF-α and IL-1β in model group were significantly  increased(P<0.01).Compare with asthma model group, bronchoalveolar lavage fluid levels of TNF-α and IL-1β in Yiqi Guben capsule group and Tongkang tablet group and dexamethasone tablets  were decreased significantly (P<0.05).
ConclusionYiqi Guben capsule can effectively reduce the levels of TNF-α in serum and TNF-α,IL-1β in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid of asthmatic mice. It is suggested that it may  treat asthma by inhibiting the activity of NF-κB signal  pathway by reducing the levels of TNF-α,IL-1β in mice.

    Objective
To investigate the effect of Qingfei Pingchuan decoction on tidal breathing lung function in infants with respiratory syncytial virus pneumonia(phlegm-heat closing lung).
    Methods
A total of 140 children with respiratory syncytial virus pneumonia(phlegm-heat closing lung) were randomly divided into two groups, 70 in the observation group and 70 in the control group. Because some children were eliminated during treatment due to the inclusion criteria and some were lost, finally the observation group consisted of 68 cases and the control group,66 cases. Both groups were given symptomatic treatment including antivirus treatment and inhalation, and antibiotics were used for those with bacterial infection. In addition, the observation group was treated with self-made Qingfei Pingchuan decoction for treatment. The treatment lasted for 7 to 14 days. The relief time of signs and symptoms, the absoption time of chest X-ray and the length of hospital stay were observed, and the changes in the tidal breathing lung function before and after treatment were also observed in the two groups.
    Results
The total effective rate of observation group was 95.6%(65/68),significantly higher than that of control group (81.8%,54/66),there being statistical different(P<0.05).The time for fever, cough, asthma and lung rales to disappear, the absorption time of chest X-ray and the length of hospital stay were all shorter in the observation group than those in the control group after treatment, and there was statistical difference(P<0.05).Comparing the tidal breathing lung function of the two groups before and after treatment, there was statistical different in the detection of TI/TE, Vt/kg, RR, TPEF/TE,VPEF/VE, TEF 25%,TEF 50% and TEF 75%(P<0.05).Comparing the Vt/kg, VPEF/VE and TPEF/TE between the two groups after treatment, there was statistical difference(P<0.05).
ConclusionThe tidal breathing lung function is obviously damaged in children with respiratory syncytial virus pneumonia(phlegm-heat closing lung). After the clinical symptoms are relieved, the lung function is improved significantly, and the improvement in Vt/kg, TPEF/TE and VPEF/VE is greater in observation group than in control group. Qingfei Pingchuan decoction has significant effect in improving the lung function of children with respiratory syncytial virus pneumonia.

    2018, 10 (5):  428-431.  doi: 10.3969/j.issn.1674-3865.2018.05.017
    Abstract ( 605 )   PDF (316KB) ( 88 )   Save

    Objective
Children with Kawasaki disease need long-term oral aspirin, Long term application of aspirin can cause gastric mucosal damage. Aspirin and Helicobacter pylori infection are the two most common gastric mucosal damage factors. This study uses the method of Helicobacter pylori stool antigen test to explore interaction between children's oral smalldose aspirin and Helicobacter pylori(Helicobacter pylori, Hp) infection in children with Kawasaki disease in order to provide a reference for clinical treatment.
    Methods
Totally 101 cases of Kawasaki disease were selected, who require longterm low-dose oral aspirin for at least 3 months, from July 2016 to June 2018.They were divided into Hp-positive group(27) and Hpnegative group(74). Before eradication treatment, the symptom scoring of digestive system was made. The Hppositive patients received Hp eradication, who took amoxicillin, clarith romycin and omeprazole orally to eradicate Hp for 10 days. One month after stopping the medication, the scoring was made again, and Hp stool antigen was detected again. After successful Hp eradication in the Hppositive group, the symptom scoring of digestive system was performed again.
    Results
There was statistical difference in the symptom scores between Hp-positive group and Hpnegative group before eradication treatment(P<0.05). After the treatment, the stool antigen was negative in 22 cases in the Hp-positive children, which was considered that the eradication treatment was successful. The treatment failed in 5 cases. There was no statistical difference in the digestive score between Hp-positive children after the treatment and Hp-negative children(P>0.05).
ConclusionAspirin and Hp have a synergistic effect on gastric mucosal injury. It is suggested that children with long-term use of aspirin receive Hp-eradication treatment.
