Methods Seventy children with tic disorder (hepatic hyperactivity and wind-induced phlegm syndrome),who were treated in our pediatric clinic from Aug. 2018 to Aug. 2019, were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, with 35 cases in each group. The treatment group received Anshen Ningzhi massage combined with Chinese medicine decoction, while the control group was treated with Chinese medicine decoction alone. After 4 weeks of treatment, YGTSS scale scores and TCM syndrome quantified scores were evaluated.

The TCM syndrome quantified score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group after treatment(P<0.05).There was no statistical difference in the total effective rate between the two groups after 4 weeks of treatment(P>0.05).The cured and effective rate was 65.7%(23/35) in the observation group, significantly higher than that of the control group(40.0%,14/35), and there was statistical difference(P<0.05).
Conclusion Anshen Ningzhi massage combined with oral Chinese medicine can significantly improve the tic symptoms in children with tic disorder (hepatic hyperactivity and wind-induced phlegm syndrome), and the clinical effect is positive.
