Abstract:
Ophiopogon decoction is from Synopsis of the Golden Chamber, and is mainly used in the treatment of deficiency-heat and lung-weakness syndrome. Prof. Song Guihua has her own features in treating children with chronic cough. She believes that this disease is with deficiency in origin and excess in superficiality, so Prof. Song performs the treatment based on wind, stasis and deficiency according to the children's physical characteristics and the clinical symptoms. The deficiency of lung and spleen is the origin, and wind and stasis are the superficiality. Therefore, modified ophiopogon decoction is often used in clinical treatment, which has achieved significant effect.
