Abstract:
Objective:To observe the clinical effect of sublingual Dermatophagoides Farinae drops on allergic asthma in children.
Methods:A total of 104 cases of children with allergic asthma who were treated from January 2012 to May 2014 in the Department of Respiration of Hunan Children's Hospital were selected, and were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 52 cases in each group. The observation group was treated by inhaled corticosteroids combined with sublingual use of Dermatophagoides Farinae drops, while the control group were treated by inhaled corticosteroids. The therapeutic effect and safety of the two groups were compared.
Results:After the treatment, the frequency of asthma attacks and duration of each attack of observation group were significantly fewer and shorter than the control group, the difference being statistically significant(P<0.05). After treatment, the pulmonary function score of observation group was significantly higher than the control group. The dust mite skin prick test was negative in 94.2%(49/52) of the patients, significantly higher than the control group(80.7%, 42/52), and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). After 1 year of treatment, asthma control rate of the observation group was significantly higher than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Two patients in the observation group had adverse drug reaction, 3 in the control group, and there was no statistically significant difference between the groups(P>0.05).
Conclusion:The use of sublingual Dermatophagoides Farinae drops has significant curative effect on children with allergic asthma.
