Abstract: Mole cricket boil is one of the common diseases in traditional Chinese medicine surgery, which often occurs in children and seriously affects their physical and mental health. Professor Lü Yanwei is a renowned traditional Chinese medicine expert in Liaoning Province and the seventh batch of national experienced traditional Chinese medicine experts. He is skilled in using traditional Chinese medicine to treat ulcers and surgical diseases. This article mainly introduces Professor Lü Yanwei's experience in treating mole cricket boil in children. Professor Lü Yanwei believes that the pathogenesis of mole cricket boil in children is the weakness of the body, the invasion of external pathogens, and their accumulation in skin. The nature of the disease belongs to the principle of deficiency of root causes and excess of manifestations. The treatment should focus on supporting the right and detoxifying, and combining internal treatment with external treatment. Satisfactory therapeutic effects can be achieved through the combination of oral administration of Wuwei Xiaodu Yin with external use of Youtiao cream.
