Abstract:
Objective
To investigate and analyze the clinical efficacy of integrated Chinese and western medicine in the treatment of children with large lobar pneumonia.
Methods
A total of 95 children with lobar pneumonia admitted to our hospital from January 2017 to January 2019 were randomly divided into two groups. Fortyeight patients in the treatment group were given the selfmade prescription of Qingfei Huayu decoction combined with azithromycin. In the control group, 47 patients received azithromycin. The treatment lasted for 10 days. The clinical efficacy, time for symptoms and signs to disappear, lung function index, and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.
Results
The total effective rate of the observation group was 95.8%（46/47）, which was significantly higher than that of the control group(80.9%,38/47). The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared with the control group, the duration of fever, the duration of cough, the recovery time of lung rales, and the time for imaging signs to return to normal were shorter in the observation group. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). The Vt/kg, TPTEF/TE and VTEEF/VE levels of both groups were significantly higher after treatment than before treatment, and these indexes in observation group were significantly higher, the difference being of statistical significance(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions was significantly lower in the observation group than in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).
Conclusion
The clinical efficacy of integrated Chinese and western medicine has good clinical effect in the treatment of children with large lobar pneumonia, which can speed up the disappearance of symptoms and has high safety.
