  • Online:2020-08-25 Published:2021-05-17

Abstract: Objective To explore the application value of evidence-based nursing in the management of childhood asthma.
Methods Sixty children with bronchial asthma admitted to our hospital from August 2018 to July 2019 were randomly divided into control group(30 cases) and observation group(30 cases). The control group received routine nursing, while the observation group received evidence-based nursing intervention on the basis of routine nursing. Observe the effects of two kinds of nursing methods on the remission time of symptoms in children with bronchial asthma, parents' understanding of the incidence of asthma and follow-up observation.
Results The time of symptom relief, parents' understanding of asthma, degree of acceptance and satisfaction with nursing methods in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).
Conclusion Evidence-based nursing can effectively improve the treatment effect, reduce asthma attacks, improve the satisfaction of the family members of children with nursing work, and shorten the hospitalization time of children, so it is worthy of clinical promotion.
