Abstract: Tic disorder is one of the common diseases in pediatrics, and western medicine believes that it may be related to genetic, immune, psychological and environmental factors. Traditional Chinese medicine often categorizes it as diseases such as "liver wind" and "Chi zong". In recent years, with the deepening of researches, the brain gut axis theory has gradually entered everyone's sight. We have found that there is a certain connection between tic disorder and brain gut axis. After connecting the brain gut axis with the liver-spleen correlation in the five viscera correlation of traditional Chinese medicine, and under the guidance of the brain gut axis theory, it is feasible to treat children's tic disorder from the liver and spleen, whether it is decoction, or acupuncture and massage
