Abstract: Childhood allergic rhinitis is a common allergic disease in childhood. In recent years, the diagnosis rate of this disease has been increasing year by year, which seriously affects the physical and mental health and quality of life of children. If not intervened early, the disease may induce diseases such as allergic conjunctivitis and bronchial asthma. Traditional Chinese medicine has the advantages of low recurrence rate and no dependence in the treatment of this disease. Based on the theory that "children are pure yang bodies, and their heart is always in excess", Professor Sun Liping believes that evil entering the body is very likely to transform into heat from yang, which can cause heat accumulation in the heart and lungs, so "the syndrome of hidden heat in the lung" can be seen in the clinical syndrome. Therefore, children with allergic rhinitis often show restlessness and dehydration. Emphasis is placed on the use of the "treatment of heart and lungs together" method to treat pediatric allergic rhinitis, and the use of calming and soothing medicine in addition to clearing nasal passages and stopping runny nose has shown clinical efficacy.
