Abstract: Objective:To investigate the effect of Salvia on ACTA and S-100B protein in CSF of children with HFMD and encephalitis.
Methods:A total of 76 children with HFMD and encephalitis treated in our hospital from Aug. 2014 to July 2019 were divided into two groups: the observation group and the control group. The control group was given routine comprehensive treatment. The treatment group was treated with Salvia on the basis of routine comprehensive treatment. Both groups were treated for 10 days. The clinical effect and the indexes of ACTA and S-100B in CSF of the two groups were compared.
Results:After treatment, the consciousness recovery, convulsion control and the control of intracranial hypertension in the treatment group were better than those in the control group, and the ACTA and S-100B indexes of CSF in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).
Conclusion:Salvia can improve the clinical symptoms of HFMD with encephalitis and reduce the inflammatory damage.
