Abstract: Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Chinese medicine decoction in the treatment of chronic cough of lung-qi and spleen-qi deficiency in children. Methods Totally 93 children with chronic cough of lung-qi and spleen-qi deficiency were selected from the pediatric clinic of Anyang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine who were treated from May 2019 to May 2020,and they were divided into 47 cases in the control group and 46 cases in the observation group. The control group was given routine symptomatic treatment, and the observation group was given oral Chinese medicine decoction on the basis of the treatment for the control group. The curative effect of TCM syndrome and TCM symptom score were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the curative effect of TCM syndrome in the observation group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05). The score of TCM symptoms in the two groups after treatment was less than that before treatment, and the score of TCM symptoms in the observation group was less than that in the control group, the difference being statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Chinese medicine decoction in our hospital has good clinical effect on chronic cough of lung-qi and spleen-qi deficiency in children, and can be popularized and applied in clinic.
