Abstract:
Objective:To observe the effect of retaining patche after importing Chinese medicine through acupuncture points in the treatment of infantile diarrhea.
Methods:Totally 300 cases of children with diarrhea were randomly divided into observation group and control group,150 cases in each. Two groups of children were given conventional treatment and symptomatic treatment such as rehydration, cooling and acidosis correction; conventional nursing and diet guidance were also performed; traditional Chinese medicine for importing through acupuncture points was made as well. In observation group patche was retained for 20~30 min after treatment, while in control group the patche was removed immediately after drug treatment. Observe compliance, treatment effects and pain tolerance in the two groups.
Results:In experiments, 145 cases of observation group had complete compliance, while 5 cases did not complete; in control group, 147 cases had complete, while 3 cases didn't complete. The total effective rate had no statistically significant difference(P>0.05); in observation group efficiency was 66.9%(97/145), significantly higher than that of control, 51.7%(76/147), the difference being statistically significant(P<0.05). In observation group intolerance occurred in 5 cases, 3 cases in control group, the two groups being similar without statistical significance(P>0.05).
Conclusion:Retaining patche after importing Chinese medicine through acupuncture points has promotion effect in the treatment of infantile diarrhea.
