Abstract:
Objective
To observe the clinical effect of purpura basic prescription in the treatment of cutaneous allergic purpura in children.
Methods
A total of 120 children with cutaneous allergic purpura admitted to the Affiliated Hospital of Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from August 2016 to August 2018 were randomly divided into observation group and control group with 60 cases in each group. The observation group was treated with basic prescription for purpura, while the control group was treated with routine drugs including 10% calcium gluconate injection, compound glycyrrhizin injection, cimetidine injection and loratadine granules, 2 weeks as a course of treatment. After 2 weeks of treatment, the clinical efficacy and the time of purpura subsidence of the two groups were observed; the patients were followed up for 3 months to observe the occurrence of kidney damage in the two groups.
Results
There was no significant difference in the total effective rate between the two groups after 2 weeks of treatment(P>0.05). The average time of purpura subsidence in the observation group was (5.56±2.03) days, which was significantly shorter than that in the control group (8.12±1.77) days, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). During the 3month followup period, the incidence of kidney damage in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).
Conclusion
The therapeutic effect of purpura basic prescription on children with cutaneous allergic purpura is satisfactory;in particular, the time of purpura subsidence is significantly short. It has a good longterm prognosis and can reduce the renal damage of children.
