Abstract:
Infectious myositis in children is characterized by weak muscle strength, pain and secondary muscular atrophy, which belongs to the category of Wei syndrome in traditional Chinese medicine according to its clinical manifestation. It is proposed in Nei Jing Wei Lun to "cure impotence only by taking yangming". According to the physiological and pathological characteristics of children, professor Shi Yumin believes that heat injury in Qi Yin and dystrophy of muscle and vessel is the main pathogenesis of Wei syndrome. Pathogenic heat and fluid injury is the external performance, while spleen and kidney deficiency is the internal cause. Therefore, the method of nourishing Yin and tonifying kidney is used to treat infantile infectious myositis, and the effect is remarkable. Through combination with case analysis, this paper summarizes the experience of professor Shi in treating children with Wei syndrome.
