Abstract: Hybrocele of children is a common diseases of urinary system，which reflects the water metabolism of human body. In western medicine surgery is the main way of treatment, which causes some pain to children. Traditional Chinese medicine has the advantage of low cost, obvious treatment effect and being easily accepted by children. Chief Physician Jia Liujin thinks that etiology and pathogenesis of hybrocele is spleen and kidney deficiency, cold coagulation and liver depression, and rheumatic attack. As for treatment, he focuses on inducing diuresis and excreting dampness, taking the method of tonifying spleen and kidney, eliminating cold and stopping pain at the same time. Satisfactory clinical effect has often been obtained.
