Clinical observation on 86 children with cough and wind-heat syndrome treated with Qingfei and Maxing powder

Abstract:


Objective :To observe the clinical curative effect of Qingfei and Maxing powder on children with cough and wind-heat syndrome.
Methods:Totally 162 cases of children with cough were randomly divided into two groups,the observation group(86 cases) and the control group(76 cases).The treatment group was treated with Qingfei and Maxing powder and the control group with acute bronchitis syrup.The duration of treatment was seven days.The total effective rate of the two groups and the time of fever recession,the time of cough disappearance and the recovery time of signs were observed.
Results: The total effective rate was 90.70%(78/86) in the observation group and 78.95%(60/76) in the control group.The therapeutic effect of the observation group was significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.05).
Conclusion: Qingfei and Maxing powder can be used in the treatment of children with cough and wind-heat syndrome
