沈阳地区0～14岁儿童血清维生素A水平的研究

Abstract:

Objective ：To have a general idea of the level of serum vitamin A and its deficiency in children in Shenyang area.

Methods： All blood samples of 1 636 children(aged 0-14 years old) in Shen yang Children′s Hospital from January 2015 to February 2016 were selected and divided into groups by sex and age to analyze vitamin A levels and to evaluate the deficiency.

Results：There was no significant difference in VitA mean value among different age groups,and it was increased with age.A very small proportion of each age group had a real lack of serum vitamin A,but ratio of marginal lack should not be overlooked.

Conclusion：Marginal vitamin deficiency is more common in children in Shenyang area,so balanced nutrition should be advocated and regular monitoring should be performed.
