Abstract:
Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Yinqiao powder in the treatment of pediatric windheat syndrome and to objectively evaluate advantages and significance of traditional Chinese medicine complex powder.
Methods :A total of 100 children with windheat syndrome were randomly divided into powder group and traditional decoction group(50 cases in each group).In both groups,only the dosage and forms of medicine were different.The symptom scores,severity extent,composition of formula,and the treatment course were of no statistical difference.The dose of powder group was a third of that of the traditional decoction group.The traditional decoction group used Yinqiao powder;both treatment course was three days.Compare the difference in chief symptoms before and in the 3rdday of treatment,main symptom improvement after treatment,expense of treatment,real consumption of herbs,time consumption,compliance of patients,their reaction,and other costeffect indexes,evaluating therapeutic advantage of Yinqiao powder.
Results:All the symptoms in both groups were improved in the 3rdday of the treatment,and the improvement of symptoms in both groups showed no statistic difference（P＞0.05）.The courses and the satisfaction extent of the family member had no difference,but the cost in medicine and time consumption in Yinqiao powder group were better than those of Yinqiao decoction group.
Conclusions:The same therapeutic effect can be achieved in both Yinqiao powder group and Yinqiao decoction group,but powder really is simple,convenient,cheap and effective．
