Abstract:
Objective:To observe the clinical curative effects of salbutamol and Xingpiyanger particles on children with primary nocturnal enuresis.
Methods:Totally 78 patients with primary nocturnal enuresis who accepted the treatment for 2 months were randomized into two groups: Chinese medicine group (Xingpiyanger particles), Chinese and western medicine group(Xingpiyanger particles + salbutamol). Both two groups also received psychologicalbehavioral therapy. The curative effect in the two groups was evaluated at the end of the treatment and 3 months after the treatment and statistical analysis was performed.
Results:The total effective rate in Chinese and western medicine group was superior to Chinese medicine group at the end of the treatment and 3 months after the treatment (P=0.029 and 0.04), the difference being statistically significant. There was no significant difference in relapse rate between two groups.
Conclusion:The clinical curative effects of salbutamol and Xingpiyanger particles in children with primary nocturnal enuresis are relatively high with lower relapse rate. So, it is worth clinical promotion in treating PNE in China.
