Abstract:
Objective：To summarize the clinical and ambulatory electroencephalogram （AEEG） features of Tic disorders in 46 children and to explore the relationship between the clinical manifestation and AEEG.
Methods：Totally 46 cases of Tic disorders who took the AEEG examation more than 20 hours from Mar.2014 to Nov. 2014 were selected. Analyze the clinical and AEEG features.
Results：Eleven out of all the patients (23.9%) had abnormal AEEG. Six of them presented as slowwave and five of them presented as epileptiform discharges. Three cases of epileptiform waves appeared only in the period of sleep.
Conclusion：Tic disorders patients have abnormal AEEG. The more serious the disease,the more common the abnormal EEG.
