Abstract:
Objective:To observe the effect of Tanreqing injection combined with azithromycin in treatment of children with Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia (MPP).
Methods:Totally 126 cases of children with Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia were randomly divided into two groups. Control group (n=60)was given azithromycin sequential therapy, 10 mg/(kg·d), once a day, through intravenous drip for the first 3 days, and later it was changed to oral taking and treatment lasted for 7 d; observation group (66 cases), in addition to the above treatment, was treated with Tanreqing injection at 0.3 to 0.5 mL/(kg·d), once daily by intravenous infusion; treatment lasted for 7 d, and the second course might be performed 3days after the first course if needed. After the treatment, observe the curative effect of the two groups, fever and cough disappearing time, and pulmonary rales disappearing and lung Xray improvement time. Before discharge the adverse drugs reaction of two groups was analyzed.
Results:The fever and cough disappearing time, pulmonary rales disappearance time, and lung Xray improvement time were significantly better in the observation group than in the control group, and the difference between the two groups had statistical significance (P<0.05 or P<0.01). The total effective rate in the observation group was 96.9% (64/66), which was better than that of the control group, 85% (51/60). The adverse reactions of the two groups were mild, and the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05) between the two groups.
Conclusion:Tanreqing injection combined with azithromycin can alleviate clinical symptoms quickly in children with Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia. Curative effect is significant, and no adverse drug reactions occur. Compared with single use of azithromycin it has certain advantages, and is worthy of popularization and application.
