Abstract:
Objective:To compare the effect of two ways of inhalation in the treatment of children with acute attack of asthma.
Methods:A total of 84 children with acute attack of bronchial asthma of moderate stage in Jingzhou Women and Children Hospital from Jan.2012 to Jan.2015 were included in the study and they were divided into two groups:observation group and control group, with 42 cases in each group.Salbutamol aerosol was put into spacer for inhalation for the observation group, while salbutamol solution was put into air-compression pump for nebulized inhalation in the control group.Compare the relief time, effect and adverse reactions between the two groups.
Results:After 60 min of treatment, the total effective rate had no statistical difference between the two groups(P>005).Cough,wheezing and wheezing rales disappeared after treatment in both groups, the difference being of no statistical significance(P>005).There was one case of palpitation respectively in each group, but there was no other obvious adverse reaction.
Conclusion:Both of the two ways of treatment mentioned above can rapidly relieve the clinical symptoms of patients with acute attack of asthma, therefore the medical institutions can choose either of them based on their own situations.
