Abstract:
Objective:To discuss the clinical effect of sequential therapy with erythromycin and azithromycin in the treatment of children with mycoplasmal pneumonia.
Methods:From Apr.2013 to Mar.2015,a total of 48 mycoplasmal pneumonia children who accepted treatments in our hospital were taken as the clinical research objects, and these patients were randomly divided into control group(24 cases)and observation group(24 cases).Patients in the control group accepted erythromycin sequential therapy;the other patients in the observation group accepted azithromycin sequential therapy. After treatment,we compared and analyzed their clinical efficacy and safety.
Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was 9167%,which was significantly higher than that of the control group(6667%),and the difference between these two groups was statistically significant(P<005);the adverse reaction rate of the observation group was 833%,which was significantly lower than that of the control group(3333%),and the difference between these two groups was statistically significant(P<005).
Conclusion:Azithromycin sequential therapy, which has the advantage of high safety,is a useful approach to the children with mycoplasmal pneumonia.
