Abstract:
Objective: To observe the curative effect of intermittent strabismus surgery and the reconstruction of near stereo visual function after operation in children.
Methods: From Sep. 2014 to Jan. 2015,150 children were admitted to Zhengzhou Children's Hospital and received correction surgery for intermittent external strabismus. Compare their common visual function and fusion visual function before and after operation, and observe the reconstruction of stereo visual function.
Results: The near stereo visual function of these 150 children was significantly improved after operation. Before operation, common visual function was in 70 children, and it was in 120 children after operation, the difference being statistical(P<0.01)|fusion visual function was in 44 children before operation, and 120 children after, the difference being statistical(P<0.01).Before operation, 72 children had near stereo visual function, and after operation 136 children did, and there was statistical difference before and after operation(P<0.01).
Conclusion: Surgical treatment has a positive effect on children with intermittent external strabismus. Near stereo visual function can be reconstructed to a certain degree through the operation, which is worth clinically promoting.
