Abstract:
Objective：To study the clinical efficacy of conservative treatment for children with chronic sinusitis.
Methods：Sixty-two children with chronic sinusitis were enrolled in the study, who were treated in Hunan Children Hospital from March 2014 to March 2016. All patients were treated conservatively after admission. The patients were treated with nasal corticosteroids, mometasone, for nasal spray, azithromycin, eucalyptus pinene, pidotimod and nasal negative pressure treatment, which lasted for 8 weeks. Observe and analyze the clinical effect, change of symptom score and adverse reactions of these children.
Results：After completing the treatment of all children, it was shown the total effective rate of the 62 cases was 90.32%(56/62). The symptom scores of the children after treatment were significantly lower than those before the treatment(P<0.05). No serious adverse reactions were found in all the children.
Conclusion：Azithromycin, eucalyptus pinene and nasal negative pressure have good curative effect in the treatment of children with chronic sinusitis.
