Abstract:
The pathogenesis of Graves' disease(GD) involves genetic, environmental, autoimmune and other factors. Among them, the immune mechanism is the central part. T-cell phenotype, and immune regulation of each subgroup and cytokines have been studied intensively in recent years. Thyroid autoantibodys, such as TRAb and TPOAb, have been widely used in clinical diagnosis, therapeutic evaluation and prognosis prediction of GD; CD4+T and CD8+T cells, as well as Th1 and Th2 cells have the complex and important immunologic function,so the imbalance of CD4/CD8 and Th1/Th2 can lead to immunological disorders; furthermore,CD4+CD25+ regulatory T cells and NK cells can exert their immunosuppression effect, acting as the protective factor of GD; IL-2,IL-6,TNF-α,IFN-α,INF-γ,IGF-1 and other cytokines play different roles in the immune regulation.
