Objective
To investigate the effect of family nursing intervention on children with asthma admitted to hospital again.
Methods
A total of 120 children with asthma were included as the research subjects, who were treated in Hunan Children's Hospital from October 2013 to October 2015, and they were randomly divided into observation group and control group, 60 children in each group. Both groups were given conventional treatment and nursing care. In addition, the observation group was intervened by family nursing care. Compare the rate of re-admission to hospital and the change of lung function in the children between the two groups.
Results
The rate of re-admission in observed group was 6.7%（4/60）,which was significantly lower than that in the control group （26.7%,16/60）; The FEV1 and PEF level after nursing care in the observation group was significantly higher than that in control group, the difference being of statistical significance(P<0.05).
Conclusion
The rate of re-admission to hospital was reduced after intervention of family nursing care in the children with asthma, and their lung function was also obviously improved, so it is worthy of further application and popularization.
