Abstract: objective To investigate the effect and prognosis of bronchoscopy and balloon dilatation under local anesthesia in children with respiratory diseases. Methods The clinical data of 94 children with respiratory diseases admitted to our hospital from May 2014 to December 2016 were retrospectively analyzed. All patients underwent bronchoscopy under local anesthesia, and endoscopic bronchoscopic interventions were performed according to the diagnosis, including high-pressure balloon dilatation. Then observe the bronchoscopic results and compare the blood gas analysis, heart rate and quality of life score before and after treatment. Results The results of bronchoscopy showed that there were 67 cases of lung infection,15 cases of atelectasis,8 cases of recurrent cough and asthma,2 cases of bronchial foreign body and 2 cases of dysplasia. After treatment, the levels of heart rate and blood gas analysis were better than before treatment (P<0.05).The scores of quality of life after treatment were significantly higher than before treatment (P<0.05). Conclusion The bronchoscopy under local anesthesia can effectively determine the type of disease, which guides the selection of clinical treatment options. The bronchoscopic balloon dilatation can effectively improve the airway stenosis in children and improve their clinical symptoms, thereby improving the quality of life, which is worth clinical promotion and application.
