Abstract:
Constipation is a clinical disease in children. Base on the theory of "lung and large intestine are the exterior and interior", Prof. Shi Ji, a famous expert of traditional Chinese medicine, thinks that constipation is closely related to lung despite the fact that it is often due to dysfunction of large intestine. Lung and large intestine are the exterior and the interior; the heat of lung is transferred to large intestine, resulting in dysfunction of large intestine; lung is the upper source of water, and because of the closure of lungqi, there is abnormal liquid metabolism, causing driness of liquid, hence constipation. Therefore, the clinical treatment should be based on lung theory in order to achieve satisfactory effects.
