Abstract:
Objective
To observe the clinical effect of a new type of screw needle combined with Peng's eye needle in the treatment of children with spasmodic cerebral palsy complicated with mental disorders.
Methods
The 40 children with spasmodic cerebral palsy combined with mental disorders were randomly divided into 2 groups according to the order of treatment and the willingness of their parents to receive eye acupuncture treatment, namely the observation group and the control group, with 20 children in each group. Both groups received comprehensive rehabilitation training, including physical therapy and occupational therapy and language training. In addition, the observation group received eye acupuncture. The treatment lasted for 30 days as a course. The adaptive ability, language, social behavior and development quotient were observed in the two groups before treatment and after 6 courses of treatment.
Results
The total effective rate was 90% in the observation group, significantly higher than the 60% in the control group(P<0.05). The scores of DQ, adaptability, language and social behaviors in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).
ConclusionThe new type of screw acupuncture combined with Peng's eye acupuncture is simple and easy to operate, and is more easily accepted by parents and children with remarkable curative effect.
