Abstract: Objective To investigate the clinical evaluation value of measurement parameters of tidal breathing pulmonary function in children with asthma and their relationship with clinical symptoms scores. Methods A total of 122 children with asthma who were treated in our hospital from January 2017 to January 2019 were enrolled in observation group.Another 86 healthy children who underwent physical examination at the same time were selected as control group. The two groups were given the same measurement of tidal breathing pulmonary function. The changes of pulmonary function indexes were compared between the two groups, and the clinical symptoms scores were recorded in observation group. The correlation between pulmonary function indexes and clinical symptoms scores was analyzed among the children with asthma. Results Among the 122 children with asthma, there were 31 cases of mild asthma,76 cases of moderate asthma and 15 cases of severe asthma. There were statistically significant differences in the TPTEF/TE,VT/kg,Rr,Ti/Te,VPEF/VE,PEF,TEF25%,TEF50% and TEF75% among the children with mild asthma, children with moderate asthma, children with severe asthma and healthy control group (all P<0.05).The TPTEF/TE and VPEF/VE in children with asthma were negatively correlated with clinical symptoms scores (P<0.05). Conclusion The measurement parameters of pulmonary function in children with asthma have a certain correlation with the severity of clinical symptoms, which can be used as one of the indicators to assess the severity of the disease.
