Abstract: Objective To explore the effects of auditory integration training (AIT therapy) on developmental ability and behavioral status of child patients with autism in the context of family rehabilitation. Methods A total of 120 children with autism who were admitted to our hospital from May 2017 to May 2019 were selected as the research subjects, and they were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 60 cases in each group. The patients in control group were given routine rehabilitation treatment, and those in observation group were given family rehabilitation combined with AIT treatment on the basis of the treatment for control group. Before treatment and after 4 months of treatment, the developmental ability, behavioral status[Chinese Version of PsychoEducational Profile (C-PEP)] and autism symptoms[Autism Treatment Evaluation Checklist (ATEC)] were compared between the two groups. Results After 4 months of treatment, the scores of each item and the total score of CPEP function development scale of the two groups were significantly higher than those before treatment, and the scores in observation group were significantly higher than those in control group during the same time period(P<0.05). The scores of each item and the total score of ATEC and CPEP pathological behavior scale were significantly lower than those before treatment, and the scores in observation group were significantly lower than those in control group during the same time period(P<0.05). Conclusion AIT treatment in the context of family rehabilitation can effectively improve the developmental ability and behavioral status of child patients with autism, significantly improve the autism symptoms, and benefit the prognosis.
