Abstract: Objective To investigate the effect of Rood technique combined with core muscle group stability training on motor function and mobility of children with spastic hemiplegia cerebral palsy(CP). Methods A total of 85 children with spastic hemiplegia cerebral palsy spastic hemiplegia admitted to our hospital from April 2018 to May 2019 were selected as research subjects, and were randomly divided into observation group(43 cases) and control group(42 cases). The control group was given rehabilitation training based on Rood technique, and the observation group was given additional core muscle group stability training on the basis of the treatment for control group. The children in the two groups were observed in six months of rehabilitation training based on the scores of gross motor assessment scale, fine motor assessment scale and spasticity scale(MAS) and functional independence. Results The scores of gross motor assessment scale and fine motor assessment scale in the observation group were higher than those in the control group after rehabilitation training, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). There was no significant difference in MAS scores between the observation group and the control group after rehabilitation training(P>0.05). The scores of cognitive function and motor function in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Rood technique combined with core muscle group stability training can improve the motor function and mobility of children with spastic hemiplegia cerebral palsy, the muscle tension and the functional independence, which plays an important role in improving the prognosis of children.
