Abstract: Objective To evaluate the clinical curative effect of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine on spleen deficiency syndrome after respiratory tract infection in children. Methods From October 2017 to December 2018, 104 children with spleen deficiency syndrome after respiratory tract infection were treated in Shanghai East Hospital, and they were randomly divided into experimental group(52 cases) and control group(52 cases). The control group(western medicine group) was treated with probiotics Bifico, and the experimental group(integrated Chinese and western medicine group) was treated with probiotics and traditional Chinese medicine(selfdesigned Jianyi formula). The course of treatment in both groups was one month. Observe and compare the changes in main syndrome score and laboratory examination indexes before and after treatment in the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the experimental group was 94.2%(49/52), which was higher than that of the control group(80.8%,42/52), and the difference was significant(P<0.05). The clinical symptoms and signs of the children were improved faster and better in the experimental group, the hemoglobin content was increased, the value of trace elements(iron and zinc) was increased, and the value of blood lead was decreased. Conclusion The combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine is effective in the treatment of spleen deficiency syndrome after respiratory tract infection in children, which is worth to be used clinically.
