Abstract: Objective Based on bibliometrics, this paper analyzes the current situation of clinical application of traditional Chinese medicine nursing in pediatrics, in order to lay a foundation for the clinical application and scientific research. Methods The literatures related to the clinical application of TCM nursing in pediatrics were retrieved in CNKI(published between 1983 and 2019). A statistical analysis was performed on the following data: the unit where the authors worked, the province where they came, the annual number of publication, the frequency of citation, the rate of co-authorship, and the disease distribution. Results A total of 134 literatures were included, which were published in 32 journals. The number of literature published was generally on the rise. The first authors were from 19 provinces, two municipalities and 3 autonomous regions. The research organizations were mainly TCM hospitals. There were 6 literatures with citation frequency being over 10, and the highest frequency was 18. The rate of co-authorship and the overall citation frequency were relatively low. Conclusion Traditional Chinese medicine nursing has been paid more and more attention by paediatric nurses, but the depth and breadth of the research are not good, and the communication and contact among the staff need to be strengthened.
