Abstract: Time medicine of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) is a discipline that studies the periodic changes between human life activities and nature under the guidance of TCM theory. On the basis of time medicine，this paper discusses the natural law of children's growth and development，and the correlation between the pathophysiological characteristics of children's growth disorders and time medicine from the following aspects: the rhythms of the four seasons, the theory of midnight-noon ebb-flow and yin-yang and qi-blood，so as to provide new ideas for the TCM treatment, guidance in intervention of life and nursing of children with short stature.
