Abstract: Recurrent respiratory tract infection is a common and frequently occurring disease in children with the characteristics of long course of disease, which is lingering and difficult to cure. The disease is a health problem due to the immature development of children, which not only affects the physical and mental health of children, but also brings a certain burden to the family and society. Traditional Chinese medicine has a unique advantage in the understanding and treatment of recurrent respiratory tract infection in children. Under the guidance of the holistic concept and the principle of syndrome differentiation, traditional Chinese medicine has accumulated rich experience in the prevention and treatment of this disease. Based on Professor Wang Lining's clinical experience in pediatric recurrent respiratory tract infection in different stages and different clinical features, treatment points and clinical experience, this paper summarizes his academic thoughts and rules of syndrome treatment for recurrent respiratory tract infection in children by stage differentiation.
