Abstract: Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of bird-nest-type nursing in very-low-birth-weight infants.
Methods:A total of 84 cases of very-low-birth-weight infants in our hospital were divided into two groups by random double-blind method:42 cases in control group was given conventional nursing,and 42 cases in observation group was added bird-nest-type nursing.The nursing course was 20 days for both groups.Observe and compare the clinical effect of the two groups.
Results:Recovery time of birth weight of observation group was(7.58±2.43)d,incubator time was(13.67±2.84)d,jaundice regression time was(12.78±2.49)d and hospital stay was(20.56±1.82)d,which were all obviously shorter than those of the control group(P<0.05).The incidence rates of apnea(4.76%),skin damage(2.38%),asphyxia(0.00%),hard swollen(2.38%)and feeding intolerance(14.29%)in observation group were all obviously lower than those of control group(P<0.05).
Conclusion:The bird-nest-type nursing for very-low-birth-weight infants has significant effect and is beneficial to the growth and development of children.It is worthy of wide application.
