Objective：To analyze clinical value of Runfei Zhike decoction in the treatment of infantile cough variant asthma.Methods：Totally 106 cases of cough variant asthma(CVA) who was admitted to the Children's Hospital of Chongqing Medical University from April 2013 to December 2015 have been selected in this study and were randomly divided into control group and observation group, each group with 53 cases. The control group was treated with montelukast sodium and oral loratadine, and the observation group was treated with self-made Runfei Zhike decoction; the patients of the two groups were treated continuously for 7 days. Observe the clinical efficacy of the two groups, the symptom score, interleukin IL-2 and leukocyte interleukin 6 levels before and after treatment; observe the adverse reactions during the treatment.Results：The total effective rate of the observation group was 96.2%(51/53), which was significantly higher than that of the control group(75.5%,40/53),and the difference was statistical(P<0.01).The clinical symptoms score and the levels of interleukin 2 and 6 were all lower after treatment than before, and there was statistical difference(P<0.05).Conclusion：Runfei Zhike decoction is very effective in the treatment of children with cough variant asthma, with the clinical symptoms significantly improved, so it is worth popularization in clinics.
