Abstract: Objective:To learn about the distribution of allergens in children with allergic rhinitis in Ordos Area, Inner Mongolia. Methods:Retrospectively analyze the results of allergen test in 1 440 children with allergic rhinitis aged 0 to 18 years who were treated in the Otolaryngology and Pediatric Department of our hospital from January 2017 to December 2019. Results:The top six allergens in different age groups were compared, and the differences in Artemisia, Quinoa/Antibranched Amaranth, Ambrosia artemisiifolia,Aspergillus candidum and Milk were statistically significant (P<0.05). The number of children with positive inhaled allergen, such as Artemisia, Quinoa/Antibranched Amaranth and Ambrosia artemisiifolia, and the positive rate significantly increased from July to September each year. Conclusion:Inhaled allergens such as Artemisia, Quinoa/Anti-branched Amaranth and Ambrosia artemisiifolia are the main allergens in children with allergic rhinitis in Ordos Area of Inner Mongolia. Ingestion allergens are the main allergens in children with allergic rhinitis less than 3 years old, and with age increasing,the positive rate of ingestive allergens gradually decreases, and the positive rate of inhaled allergens in children gradually increases.
