Abstract:

In the treatment of allergic rhinitis(AR), Prof. Jia Liujin advocates the treatment principle preventing disease before attack and preventing deterioration during the disease, and creates the model of combining disease differentiation with syndrome differentiation. He divides the disease into five types: perennial attack, perennial attack with seasonal exacerbation, seasonal attack, combination with sinusitis, and combination with asthma. Based on disease differentiation, the differentiated treatment is divided into the following syndrome types: insufficiency of lung-qi, deficiency of lung and spleen-qi, wind-heat AR,wind-cold AR, deficiency of lung and spleen-qi, wind-head AR, wind-cold AR, deficiency and coldness of lung-qi,and excessive heat of lung and stomach，etc.. Xanthium powder with modification is used as the basic medication, and the effect is significant.
