Clinical study on antibiotic-associated diarrhea in children

Abstract:


Objective :To analyze the influencing factors of antibiotic-associated diarrhea in children in order to reduce the occurrence of children with AAD.
Methods: Analyze 853 cases of infection due to the use of antibiotics in children. According to the occurrence of AAD, divide the cases into AAD group(104 cases) and non-AAD group.Compare the clinical data of the two groups and analyze them statistically.
Results: Through research and comparison,the occurrences of AAD were related to the age of the child,the type and the time of use of antibiotics,receiving combination therapy or not, fasting or not,the incidence of primary disease and other factors.
Conclusion: Rational use of antibiotics and early intervention therapy will minimize or avoid the occurrence of AAD.
