Abstract: Objective To investigate the effect of acupuncture method of "SU cave and HE cave" on motor function and muscle tension of children with spastic cerebral palsy. Methods From July 2016 to December 2019,104 children with spastic cerebral palsy were treated in our hospital, and they were selected as subjects. According to the random number table method, the children were divided into observation group and control group, with 52 cases in each group. In the control group, conventional acupuncture was used on the basis of comprehensive rehabilitation function training, For observation group, in addition to comprehensive rehabilitation function training, the acupuncture method of"SU cave and HE cave" was also used. The motor function and muscle tension levels of the two groups were compared respectively before treatment, and 1 month, 2 months and 3 months after treatment. Results After 3 months of treatment, motor function and muscle tension of children in the two groups were improved, and the difference was statistically significant compared with those before treatment(P<0.05);in the comparison among different time points, the difference was statistically significant between the two groups at the end of 1 month and two months of treatment(P<0.05), while the difference was not statistically significant between the two groups at the end of 3 months(P>0.05). Conclusion The acupuncture method of "SU cave and HE cave" can effectively improve the motor function of children with spastic cerebral palsy and significantly reduce the muscle tension; the recovery effect is good; it is clinically proved to be better than conventional acupuncture in the onset time and the effect with the advantage of fewer acupuncture points selected and quicker effect, which is worth promoting and applying in clinical rehabilitation.
