Abstract: Primary nephrotic syndrome (PNS) is one of the most common glomerular diseases in children.Long-term oral glucocorticoids are recognized as the first-line treatment for PNS.Long-term use of glucocorticoids can lead to eye damage such as high eye pressure, glaucoma and cataracts. This article reviews the epidemiology, risk factors, pathogenesis, diagnosis, clinical manifestations, clinical management and treatment of glucocorticoid-induced eye damage in PNS.By establishing early screening, early diagnosis and early treatment of eye damage in PNS children during long-term glucocorticoid therapy,we hope to effectively ensure children′s eye health.
