Abstract: Objective:To study the application of combined detection of PCT,hs-CRP and WBC in the early diagnosis of neonatal sepsis. Methods:A total of 68 neonates diagnosed with sepsis from Jan. 2013 to Jan. 2016 were chosen as the observation group, and 68 healthy neonates in the same period were included as the control group. Enzyme-linked fluorescence analysis was used to detect PCT, immuno turbidimetry was used to detect hs-CRP and Sysmex 800 blood analyzer was used to analyze WBC. Results:The value of PCT,hs-CRP and WBC was remarkably higher in the observation group than in the control group before treatment(P<0.05), but after treatment, these values significantly decreased in observation group, and there was statistical difference compared with those before treatment(P<0.05). The combined detection of PCT,hs-CRP and WBC was higher in specificity of diagnosis, positive prediction value and negative prediction value when compared with the combined detection of any two items. Conclusion:The combined detection of PCT, hs-CRP and WBC can be used in the early diagnosis of neonatal sepsis, which helps to improve the diagnosis accuracy.
